Spirit Run has seven races for high school aged and younger and a Toddler Trot.

- USATF Southern California (So Cal USATF) has selected Spirit Run to host its 2018 Road Mile Championship and the Youth Mile races are included. To be eligible for USATF Awards, you must be a current USATF member. Learn about the Championship, Awards offered by USATF, and USATF membership for an annual fee of $30 at So Cal USATF's Website.

Spirit Run's Youth 5k is for high school aged and younger. Children race without adult interference and a child breaks the finish line tape!
Parents or guardians of youth in the Youth 5k may register for the Adult 5k and run with their children in the Youth 5k, but must start in the back of the pack and later catch up with their children. No awards are available for such adults and no other adults are allowed.

SO CAL USATF ROAD MILE CHAMPIONSHIP
So Cal USATF has selected Spirit Run to host its 2018 Road Mile Championship.
Spirit Run hosts four separate 1-Mile races:
- Mile - Age 7-8
- Mile - Age 9-10
- Mile - Age 11-12
- Open Mile - Age 13-18 (middle and high school)

The Dog Mile is for age 13 and older to run with their four-legged furry friends on leashes. Spirit Run awards youth winners medals and lunch or dinner at Lazy Dog Cafe. Visit the Awards Page to learn how you can win.
Participants must finish in 15 minutes.
Youth 1/2 and 1/4 mile races
Spirit Run hosts a 1/2 Mile race for children age 5 and 6, as well as a 1/4 Mile race for age 4.

Twice the Fun: Spirit Run + Track Meet 4/6/2018
"Twice the Fun" entitles youth registrants to entry into Spirit Run and the City of Newport Beach Track Meet on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach. "Twice the Fun" is open to children born in years 2003 to 2011.
"Twice the Fun" has two options - "Twice the Fun Single Spirit Run" (one Spirit Run race) and "Twice the Fun Spirit Run Combo" (two Spirit Run races).

This event is for children age 3 and younger. It takes place in the expo inside a fenced large astro turf covered area. Multiple start times take place between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
