St. Patrick’s Themed Shirts
Spirit Run is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with new adult and youth shirts featuring a new running clover. When you register online by March 3rd, adult shirts are available for $15 in three styles and four colors. Very limited quantities in a few styles and sizes of the adult shirts will be available for purchase at Spirit Run. Youth tech shirts in white are free with each youth entry.
Finisher Medals for Adults and Children
Now everyone can claim a lucky charm! Adult finishers a four-leaf clover medal; kids, Spirit Run finisher medals.
Enjoy Irish Cuisine At Muldoon’s Irish Pub
Enjoy Irish cuisine at Muldoon’s Irish Pub starting with Irish bangers (sausages). Muldoon’s, located about a 1/4 mile from Spirit Run’s expo, is honoring adult finishers with a coupon for a free “Banger Bites” appetizer. It will be redeemable for a time period after St. Patrick’s Day.

Go Green at Spirit Run
Everyone wants to be Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. Show your Spirit – green spirit that is! Compete in Spirit Run’s St. Patrick's Day costume contest. Whether you come as a leprechaun or simply wearing a green hat or socks, this promises to be fun!
Below are the contest divisions and prizes. All prizes are donated by the Lot at Fashion Island.
Individual adult - movie tickets and dinner for 2
Individual youth - movie tickets, popcorn, candy, and a drink for 5 kids
Team (family, friends, classmates, etc.) - movie tickets, popcorn, candy, and a drink for 10
Dog & human - movie tickets and dinner for two (humans)
Costume competitors should arrive at the expo by 9:10 a.m. to model their costumes before Spirit Run's judges. Judges include the City of Newport Beach's Mayor Diane Dixon, City Manager Grace Leung, and Council Member Joy Brenner, as well as Newport Mesa Unified School Board Member Karen Yelsey.
