So Cal usatf Road Mile championships finds new home at Spirit Run.

Southern California USA Track & Field (So Cal USATF) is partnering with Spirit Run to host its 2018 Road Mile Championships. Spirit Run's fast, point to point course offers elite, highly competitive, and casual runners the chance to test their speed at the mile. Clocks will be posted at the 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 mile marks. So Cal USATF will award medals to the top three finishers in the standard USATF age divisions and is offering a Cash Purse. Spirit Run is awarding additional medals and prizes. Visit Awards Page for details.

Spirit Run Selected for Sixth year for inclusion in Grand prix series.

For the sixth consecutive year, So Cal USATF has selected Spirit Run as one of fifteen road racing events from Inyo, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, and Santa Barbara counties to be included in its Grand Prix Road Running Championship Series.

The Grand Prix Series offers opportunities for adult and youth So Cal USA Track & Field members to compete in some of the best road races and fastest courses in So Cal USATF's region. Members compete in series road races for points and series winners are eligible to win medals and cash prizes.

Spirit Run Grand Prix races for adults include the 10k, 5k, or Open Mile; for children, the Youth 5k or age appropriate mile race.
